Mark Herrmann
Mark Donald Herrmann (born January 8, 1959) is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for twelve seasons. Herrmann played college football for the Purdue Boilermakers, and was a unanimous All-American in 1980. He was selected in the 1981 NFL draft by the Denver Broncos, and also played for three other NFL teams during his career. After retiring from football he became the Associate Director of Educational Programs for the NCAA, and currently works as a football broadcaster, previously serving on the Indianapolis Colts broadcast crew for nearly a decade. Early life Herrmann was born in Cincinnati and raised in Carmel, Indiana, where he played high school football for Carmel High School. Liberty Bowl
The Liberty Bowl is an annual American college football bowl game played in late December or early January since 1959. For its first five years, it was played at Philadelphia Municipal Stadium in Philadelphia before being held at Atlantic City (New Jersey) Convention Hall in 1964. Since 1965, the game has been held at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee. Because of the scheduling of the bowl game near the end of the calendar year, no game was played during calendar years 2008 or 2015, while two games were played in calendar years 2010 and 2016. Passer rating (also known as passing efficiency in college football) is a measure of the performance of passers, primarily quarterbacks, in gridiron football.
