Mark Henry
Mark Jerrold Henry (born June 12, 1971) is an American former powerlifter, Olympic weightlifter, strongman, and professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as a commentator/analyst, coach, and talent scout. He is best known for his 25-year career in WWE. He is was a two-time WWE world champion, a two-time Olympian ( 1992 and 1996) and a gold, silver, and bronze medalist at the Pan American Games in 1995. As a powerlifter, he was WDFPF World Champion (1995) and a two-time U.S. National Champion (1995 and 1997) as well as an all-time raw world record holder in the squat and deadlift. Currently, he still holds the WDFPF world records in the squat, deadlift and total and the USAPL American record in the deadlift since 1995. Kevin Henry
Kevin Lerell Henry (born October 23, 1968), who pronounces his first name Kee-vin (as in "key") is a former American football defensive lineman who played eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played college football for Mississippi State University. Henry was born in Mound Bayou, Mississippi, in 1968 and attended John F. Kennedy Memorial High School in that city. He then enrolled at Mississippi State University. He redshirted during his first year at the school and was ineligible as a sophomore after his American College Test (ACT) score was invalidated. He first saw game action as a junior and led the team with six quarterback sacks. As a senior, he started seven games, but then sustained a tear in the posterior cruciate ligament of his left knee. ECW World Heavyweight Championship
The ECW World Heavyweight Championship was a professional wrestling world heavyweight championship originally used in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and later, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It was the original world title of the ECW promotion, spun off from the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. It was established under ECW in 1994 but was originally introduced in 1992 by the promotion's precursor, Eastern Championship Wrestling. The inaugural champion was Jimmy Snuka, however, WWE considers the inaugural champion to be Shane Douglas, with his reign beginning on August 27, 1994. The WWE European Championship was a professional wrestling title competed for in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). The title was created on February 26, 1997. The first champion was The British Bulldog who defeated Owen Hart in a tournament final. The title was retired briefly in April 1999 by then-champion Shane McMahon, who wanted to retire as an "undefeated champion". McMahon reintroduced the championship two months later and gave it to Mideon, who saw the title belt in Shane's travel bag and asked if he could have it. The deadlift is a weight training exercise in which a loaded barbell or bar is lifted off the ground to the level of the hips, torso perpendicular to the floor, before being placed back on the ground. The World Drug-Free Powerlifting Federation (WDFPF) is an international powerlifting federation, founded in 1988, with 22 member countries. Its current president is Wim Backelant. The federation is created specifically as a drug-free alternative international platform in order to provide fair competition world-wide for those powerlifters who wish to train and compete without performance-enhancing drugs.
