Mark Gamba
Mark Francis Gamba is an American politician in the U.S. state of Oregon who currently serves in the Oregon House of Representatives representing the 41st district in Milwaukie. Previously, Gamba served as mayor of Milwaukie. Early life Gamba was born and raised in Colorado. Gamba attended Glenwood Springs High School in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. He graduated in 1977 Career Although he has lived in Oregon for over two decades, Gamba has worked all over the world as a photographer with many assignments from National Geographic. He has also worked as a land surveyor. Gamba was a member of the Milwaukie Planning Commission and served as Vice Chair of the Subcommittee on Energy and Environment of the League of Oregon Cities. Oregon ( , ) is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It is a part of the Western U.S., with the Columbia River delineating much of Oregon's northern boundary with Washington, while the Snake River delineates much of its eastern boundary with Idaho. The 42° north parallel delineates the southern boundary with California and Nevada. The western boundary is formed by the Pacific Ocean. Oregon's 5th Congressional District
Oregon's 5th congressional district stretches from the Southeast corner of Portland through the eastern half of the Willamette Valley and then reaches across the Cascades to take in Sisters and Bend. It includes a sliver of Multnomah County, the majority of Clackamas County, the rural eastern portion of Marion County, most of Linn County, a very small section of southwest Jefferson County, and the populated northwest portion of Deschutes County. It was significantly redrawn when Oregon gained a 6th congressional district after the 2020 census. The district is currently represented by Democrat Janelle Bynum. Lori Chavez-DeRemer
Lori Michelle Chavez-DeRemer (; née Chávez; born April 7, 1968) is an American politician who has served as the 30th United States secretary of labor since 2025. A member of the Republican Party, she served as the U.S. representative for from 2023 to 2025 and as the mayor of Happy Valley, Oregon, from 2011 to 2019. She is the first Republican woman to represent Oregon in the House. Additionally, she is one of the first two Hispanic women (alongside Andrea Salinas) elected to the United States Congress from Oregon.
