Mark Evans (actor)
Mark Henry Evans (born 2 January 1985) is a British musical theatre actor, singer, and dancer from Wales, known for numerous Welsh-language and English-language productions. His various theatre credits include '' Wicked'', '' Ghost the Musical'', and ''Waitress''. He starred as Elder Price in an 18-month (Dec 2012 – June 2014) engagement in the North American tour of ''The Book of Mormon''. He is currently based in New York City. Personal life Evans was born in St Asaph, North Wales and raised on a farm in Llanrhaeadr in the county of Denbighshire. He is married to fellow actor Justin Mortelliti. Career Beginning performances on 16 July 2007, he joined the ensemble of the acclaimed London West End production of '' Wicked'' and served as the second understudy for Fiyero Tigelaar. Jermyn Street Theatre is a performance venue situated on Jermyn Street, in London's West End. It is an Off West End studio theatre. History Jermyn Street Theatre opened in August 1994. It was formerly the changing rooms for staff at a Spaghetti House restaurant and originally the cellar of the Kent & Sussex Tavern up until 1838. The space was transformed under the leadership of Howard Jameson and Penny Horner into a 70-seat studio theatre. They both remain the Chair of the Board and Executive Director respectively. ''Jet Set Go!'' is a British musical comedy written by Jake Brunger and Pippa Cleary, with Brunger writing book and lyrics and Cleary writing music and lyrics. Production history ''Jet Set Go!'' premiered at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival Fringe at George Square Theatre under the inaugural ‘Musicals at George Square’ season, directed by Luke Sheppard. The production subsequently transferred to Theatre 503 in London, where the run sold out in advance of opening night. The Palace Theatre is a West End theatre in the City of Westminster in London. Its red-brick facade dominates the west side of Cambridge Circus, London, Cambridge Circus behind a small plaza near the intersection of Shaftesbury Avenue and Charing Cross Road.
