Mark Covell (born 7 November 1968) is a Scottish competitive sailor and Olympic medalist. He won a silver medal in the Star class at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney Sydney ( ) is the capital city of the state of New South Wales, and the most populous city in both Australia and Oceania. The sport of sailing involves a variety of competitive sailing formats that are sanctioned through various sailing federations and yacht clubs.
