Mark B
Mark Barnes (1970 – 1 January 2016), known professionally as Mark B, was a British hip hop record producer. He was most active in the 1990s and early 2000s, associating with Task Force and Blade on many of his records. He was a DJ for Jazz Fudge Recordings for much of his career. Mark B first signed with Jazz Fudge in 1995. He produced some tracks for DJ Vadim's U.S.S.R. Repertoire. His first individual album was ''Underworld Connection'', released in 1997. Mark Christensen (born November 23 1952) is an American former professional basketball player and coach. He led the Úrvalsdeild karla (basketball), Úrvalsdeild karla in scoring during the 1978–1979 season. Early life Christensen grew up in Kearney County, Nebraska, Minden in Nebraska. College career Christensen attendted Kearney State College from 1971 to 1975 where he scored 1,070 points over four seasons. He spent the 1975–1976 season with Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks, Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario where he was selected to Ontario University Athletics, OUAA Men's Basketball First Team All-Star. Professional career In 1977, Christensen was hired as a player-coach with Þór Akureyri (basketball club), Þór Akureyri. During his first season with Þór, he was the third leading scorer in the league with 363 points, averaging 25.9 points in 14 games. Mark Christensen (rugby League)
Mark Christensen (born 19 April 1982) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s. He played for South Sydney in the NRL competition. Playing career Christensen began his playing career with Mackay in Queensland. He then moved to the Redcliffe Dolphins and played two years with them in the Queensland Cup. In 2002, Christensen signed for St. George Illawarra and played two seasons for them in reserve grade before signing with South Sydney. Christensen made his first grade debut for South Sydney against the Wests Tigers in round 22 2004 which ended in a 56–6 loss at Leichhardt Oval. Christensen was handed his debut after Souths player Ahmad Bajouri was badly injured in a car accident in the week leading up to the game. At the end of the 2004 NRL season, Christensen was released by Souths. Mark Christensen (born August 12, 1957) is an American former soccer player who played as a defender. Career Christensen played college soccer with Oakland University, and was drafted by Carolina Lightnin' in the American Soccer League. He played in the North American Soccer League in 1981 with Chicago Sting. In 1983, he played in the American Soccer League with Detroit Express. In the winter of 1983 he indoor soccer in the Major Indoor Soccer League with the Buffalo Stallions. In 1984, he played in the United Soccer League with Fort Lauderdale Sun for two seasons. He returned to indoor soccer format in 1985 with the Kalamazoo Kangaroos in the American Indoor Soccer Association. The following season he played with Toledo Pride, and served as the team captain. Transpacific Yacht Race
The Transpacific Yacht Race (Transpac) is a biennial offshore yacht race held in odd-numbered years starting off the Pt. Fermin buoy in San Pedro, California and ending off Diamond Head in Hawaii, a distance of around . In even-numbered years the Pacific Cup race starts out of San Francisco and is run by the Pacific Cup Yacht Club. Started in 1906 by Clarence W. Macfarlane and hosted by Los Angeles Yacht Club, it is one of yachting's premier offshore races and attracts entrants from all over the world. The race is organized by the Transpacific Yacht Club. The race is famous for fast downwind sailing under spinnaker in the trade winds.
