Mark Asbock
Mark Asbock (born 7 April 1977) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for the Canberra Raiders in the National Rugby League. Playing career Early in his career he played in France, which is where he met his wife Angelique. Asbock, who came from Queanbeyan, made three-first grade appearances for Canberra late in the 2002 NRL season. A winger, he scored a try in each of his first two games, against North Queensland Cowboys, North Queensland and the New Zealand Warriors, Warriors. The Warriors are a professional rugby league football club based in Auckland, New Zealand that competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership and is the League's only team from outside Australia. The 2002 NRL season was the 95th season of professional rugby league football in Australia and the fifth to be run by the National Rugby League. The season was affected by the competition-leading Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs' salary cap breach finding, which saw them relegated to the bottom of the NRL ladder.
