Mariveles Reef
Mariveles Reef (; ; ; Mandarin ), is located in the SW of Dangerous Ground in the Spratly Islands. It is slightly east of north from Swallow Reef and southeast of Barque Canada Reef. It dries at high tide enclosing two large lagoons in a figure of eight formation with a sand cay between them. This small cay, 1.5–2 m high, and some isolated rocks are just visible at high water. It is one of the areas in the Spratly Islands occupied by Malaysia. The Royal Malaysian Navy has maintained an "offshore naval station" there called "Station Mike" since 1986. South China Sea
The South China Sea is a marginal sea of the Western Pacific Ocean. Mandarin Chinese

Barque Canada Reef
Barque Canada Reef (); ; Thuyền Chài Reef (); Mandarin , is a reef on the Spratly Islands in the South China Sea. The reef has been occupied by Vietnam since 1988. It is also claimed by China (PRC), Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Taiwan (ROC). Barque Canada Reef is a shallow, long (nearly 30 km) and narrow (less than 4 km at its widest point) coral atoll in the Dangerous Ground zone. The nearest island is Amboyna Cay, just over 20 nautical miles to the south-west. The government of Vietnam began a major project to develop Barque Canada Reef in 2022. Swallow Reef
Swallow Reef, also known as ; ; Mandarin Chinese, Mandarin ; Celerio Reef (), is an oceanic atoll of the Spratly Islands administered by Malaysia. The Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) has maintained a presence on the reef since 1983, but as with all of the Spratly Islands, the ownership is disputed, and it is also claimed by the People's Republic of China, the Republic of China (Taiwan) and Vietnam. Dangerous Ground is a large area in the southeast part of the South China Sea characterized by many low islands and cays, sunken reefs, and atolls awash, with reefs often rising abruptly from ocean depths greater than . There are few precise definitions, but ''Dangerous Ground'' corresponds roughly to the seas around the eastern half of the Spratly Islands.
