Marius Østvold
Marius Østvold (born 4 November 1997) is a retired Norwegian football midfielder. He hails from Porsgrunn, but joined Stabæk as a youth player and also featured for Norway internationally. He made his Norwegian Premier League debut in May 2016 against IK Start, but tore a cruciate ligament in June 2016. A year later he faced another surgery, this time in both shins. He never returned to Stabæk's first team, and ahead of the 2018 season he trialled with Lyn. After four matches for Lyn he retired because of the injuries. Lyn 1896 Fotballklubb () is a Norway, Norwegian association football, football club and a department of the sports club SFK Lyn, Ski- og Fotballklubben Lyn based in Oslo, whose members also participate in Nordic skiing and orienteering. Until 2010, SFK Lyn had two football departments, one professional section and one amateur section. After the professional football department, FK Lyn, was bankrupted in 2010, the fans decided to support the amateur department, Lyn Fotball, instead. Eliteserien () is a professional association football league in Norway and the highest level of the Norwegian football league system.
