Marist Red Foxes Baseball
The Marist Red Foxes baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Marist University in Poughkeepsie, New York, United States. The team is a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The team plays its home games at James J. McCann Baseball Field in Poughkeepsie, New York. Baseball was added to the Marist Athletic Department in the fall of 1990 and their inaugural season was 1991. The Red Foxes are coached by Lance Ratchford. Postseason history The program has appeared in six NCAA Division I Baseball Championships, as of the end of the 2013 season. The first came in 1997, with a team led by All-American Mark Barron and two future Major League draftees, Jorge Santiago and Mike Speckhardt. Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC, ) is a collegiate List of NCAA conferences, athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I. Its current 13 full members are located in five Northeastern states: Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York (state), New York. Chris Tracz
Chris Tracz (born March 24, 1982) is an American baseball coach and former pitcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the Army Black Knights. He played college baseball for Marist from 2001 to 2005. He served as the head coach of the Marist Red Foxes (2010–2022). Playing career Tracz was a pitcher for Marist from 2001 to 2005, helping the Red Foxes to reach three NCAA tournaments and serving as a captain for his final three seasons. In 2002 and 2003, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Coaching career Tracz began his coaching career as an assistant with the Red Foxes, serving as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. The Long Beach State Dirtbags baseball team is the college baseball program that represents California State University, Long Beach. Although all Long Beach State sports teams are officially known as the Beach, the baseball team is typically referred to as the "Dirtbags". Their colors are black and gold. The East Carolina Pirates baseball team is an intercollegiate baseball team representing East Carolina University in NCAA Division I college baseball and participates as a full member of the American Athletic Conference.
