Marisol Santacruz Bañuelos (born 16 February 1970 in Mexico City, Federal District) is an actress, comedian, hostess, model, and a former winner of Rostro de El Heraldo, a beauty contest for the Mexican newspaper '' El Heraldo''. Biography Marisol Santacruz started her artistic career after being named the Face of El Heraldoro: this served as a window to start work on public campaigns like "La Rubia superior," or "Top Blonde," and a time after came her first opportunity inside the world of telenovelas. She has been educated at many places, such as Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes Mexico, Centro de Estudios Artisticos (CEA) de Televisa Mexico, and Escuela Cinomatografica Rusa. Lucille Silvia Derbez Amézquita, better known as Silvia Derbez (March 8, 1932 – April 6, 2002) was a Mexican film and television actress. She competed in Miss Mexico 1952 where she came in 4th place. Life and career Derbez was born in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, the daughter of María de la Luz Amézquita and French-born businessman Marcel Derbez Gilly. She debuted in Mexican film as a teenager, participating in her first movie at the age of 15, when she acted in ''La Novia del Mar'' (''Girlfriend of the Sea''), filmed in 1947. In 1948, she participated in a classic of Mexican cinema: '' Allá en el Rancho Grande'' (''Out on the Big Ranch''). Irán Eory ( fa, ایران اِئوری; 21 October 1939 – 10 March 2002, born Elvira Teresa Eory) was an Iranian-born actress. She achieved fame in Mexico after moving to that country in the late 1960s. Biography She was born in Tehran, Iran, to an Austrian father and an Iranian Jewish mother — Angela Sidi — on October 21, 1939 in Tehran, Iran. Irán was given as the screen name for her, because it suggests her birth country. Eory was raised in Spain, where she learned Spanish, and entered a beauty contest in Monaco, distinguished by Prince Rainier. She started her acting career before emigrating to Mexico in the late 1960s, to become an actress, singer, and a theatre producer. María Elena Enríquez Ruiz (born August 18, 1944), known as Helena Rojo, is a Mexican actress and model. Biography Born in Mexico City, Mexico, she began her career as a model in the 1961.
