Mario Joel Tolentino Reyes (born 1952) is a Filipino politician who served as Governor of Palawan, Governor of Palawan. Early life and education Reyes was born in 1952 in Coron, Palawan, Coron, Palawan. He attended the Far Eastern University and pursued a law degree but later dropped out. Reyes left his hometown after he was linked to the death of a friend, Danilo Salta Cruz, during a hunting trip; which was recorded as an accident by the police. He went to the United States and worked in various odd jobs, primarily as a bartender in Los Angeles. Abraham Kahlil Blanco Mitra (born January 3, 1970), also known as Baham Mitra, is a Filipino politician, and the chairman of the Games and Amusement Board since 2016. He was a presidential consultant, congressman, and governor of Palawan. He is the youngest son of former House of Representatives Speaker Ramon Mitra, Jr. and Cecilia Aldeguer Blanco. The Sandiganbayan () is a special Appellate court, appellate collegial court in the Philippines that has jurisdiction over criminal and civil cases involving Graft (politics), graft and corrupt practices and other offenses committed by public officers and employees with a salary grade 27 and up , including those in government-owned and controlled corporations.
