Mario Fabrizi
Mario Edgio Pantaleone Fabrizi (25 June 1924 – 5 April 1963) was an English comedian and actor of Italian descent, noted for his luxuriant moustache. He was active in Britain in the 1950s and early 1960s. Life Fabrizi was born to Italian parents in Holborn, London, England, in 1924, his mother's maiden name being Pisani. His father was a Vicomte (Italian: ''visconte''), a title that Mario inherited on his father's death in 1959.Daily Mirror 27 May 1960 p26 "Mush Takes a (Real-Life) plunge!" He married Katherine Boyne of Leeds on 28 May 1960. They had a son, Anthony, in 1961. Holborn ( or ), an area in central London, covers the south-eastern part of the London Borough of Camden and a part (St Andrew Holborn (parish), St Andrew Holborn Below the Bars) of the Wards of the City of London, Ward of Farringdon Without in the City of London. Spike Milligan
Terence Alan "Spike" Milligan (16 April 1918 – 27 February 2002) was an Irish comedian, writer, musician, poet, playwright and actor. The son of an English mother and Irish father, he was born in British Raj, British India, where he spent his childhood before relocating in 1931 to England, where he lived and worked for the majority of his life. Disliking his first name, he began to call himself "Spike" after hearing the band Spike Jones, Spike Jones and his City Slickers on Radio Luxembourg. Milligan was the co-creator, main writer, and a principal cast member of the British radio comedy programme ''The Goon Show'', performing a range of roles including the characters Eccles (character), Eccles and Minnie Bannister. ''On the Beat'' is a 1962 British comedy film directed by Robert Asher (director), Robert Asher and starring Norman Wisdom, Jennifer Jayne and Raymond Huntley. It was written by John McKimson, Wisdom and Eddie Leslie. Plot Norman Pitkin works at Scotland Yard as a car cleaner, but dreams of becoming a policeman as his late father was. Carry On Cruising
''Carry On Cruising'' is a 1962 British comedy film, the sixth in the series of 31 ''Carry On'' films (1958–1992). It was based on an original story by Eric Barker. P&O – Orient Lines were thanked in the credits. Regulars Sid James, Kenneth Williams and Kenneth Connor appear in the film, whereas Joan Sims and Charles Hawtrey do not. Sims took ill shortly before filming began and was replaced by Dilys Laye, making her ''Carry On'' debut, at four days' notice. Hawtrey was dropped for demanding star billing and more money, but returned for the next entry, making this the only entry during Hawtrey's 23-film run which he missed. Sims returned two years later in ''Carry On Cleo''. Liz Fraser notches up the second of her four appearances here.
