Mario Almada (field Hockey)
Mario Nicolás Almada (born 20 May 1975 in Buenos Aires) is a field hockey forward from Argentina. Almada made his debut for the national squad in 1994, and competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics and the 2004 Summer Olympics. He has also been involved in coaching for the national team. He has played club hockey in Spain with Club de Campo and Real Club de Polo de Barcelona; in the Netherlands for Laren; and in India India, officially the Republic of India, is a country in South Asia. Field Hockey
Field hockey (or simply referred to as hockey in some countries where ice hockey is not popular) is a team sport structured in standard hockey format, in which each team plays with 11 players in total, made up of 10 field players and a goalkeeper. Teams must move a hockey ball around a field by hitting it with a field hockey stick, hockey stick towards the rival team's shooting circle and then into the goal (sports), goal. The match is won by the team that scores the most goals. Matches are played on grass, watered turf, artificial turf, although grass has become increasingly rare as a playing surface. Pune Strykers (abbreviated as PS) was an Indian professional field hockey team based in Pune, Maharashtra that played in the World Series Hockey. The team was owned by Sai Grace Sports & Events Private Limited. PCMC Hockey Stadium in Pune is the home ground of Pune Strykers.
