Marieke Josephine Hardy (born 26 May 1976) is an Australian writer, radio and television presenter, television producer and screenwriter and former television actress. Hawthorn East, Victoria
Hawthorn East is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, east of the Melbourne central business district, located within the City of Boroondara local government area. Hawthorn East recorded a population of 14,834 at the 2021 census. The suburb is roughly bounded by Barkers Road to the north, Burke Road to the east, Toorak Road and the Monash Freeway to the south and Auburn Road to the west. Hawthorn East is the home of a number of head offices for some of Australia's largest companies, including Coles and Bunnings. History The formally recognised traditional owners for the area in which Balwyn is located are the Wurundjeri People, who lived on the land for at least 14,000 years. ''A Country Practice'' is an Australian television soap opera which broadcast on the Seven Network from 18 November 1981 until 5 November 1993, airing at 7:30 pm on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Lindsay "The Doctor" McDougall (born 9 March 1978) is an Australian rock guitarist and radio presenter. Since 1996, he has been the lead guitarist in punk rock band, Frenzal Rhomb alongside lead singer Jay Whalley. He has co-written songs with fellow band members including their highest charting single, "You Are Not My Friend". During 2003 McDougall organised '' Rock Against Howard'', a compilation album, by various Australian musicians as a protest against incumbent Prime Minister, John Howard's government. Robert Buck known as Robbie Buck is an Australian radio announcer. Career Robbie's radio experience began in his home town of Lismore where he took up a late night shift on the local radio station. Once he moved to Sydney he began doing graveyard shifts on community station 2SER, and eventually became a full-time employee for the station. Following this, he spent time at SBS radio and TV as a sound producer. During his time at SBS, he co-hosted ''Alchemy'' which was a late night TV program focused on the electronic music scene.
