Marie-Anne Chazel
Marie-Anne France Jacqueline Chazel (born 19 September 1951) is a French actress, screenwriter and director, who has been active in both film and television since 1974. Biography Chazel was born to actress Louba Guertchikoff (birth name Louba Louise Pinon; 1919–1999) in Gap, Hautes-Alpes. From 1967, Chazel studied at Pasteur College, alongside Michel Blanc, Gerard Jugnot, Thierry Lhermitte and Christian Clavier. After the achievement of her baccalaureate and two years of studies of political sciences, she and her college comrades formed a theatrical troop in 1974 named Le Splendid, joined by Josiane Balasko. Chazel achieved popularity as Gigi in ''Les Bronzés'' (1978) directed by Patrice Leconte. She is best known for her role as Ginette in ''Les Visiteurs'' (1993). Édouard Molinaro
Édouard Molinaro (13 May 1928 – 7 December 2013) was a French film director and screenwriter. Biography He was born in Bordeaux, Gironde. He is best known for his comedies with Louis de Funès ('' Oscar'', ''Hibernatus''), ''My Uncle Benjamin'' (with Jacques Brel and Claude Jade), '' Dracula and Son'' (with Christopher Lee), and the Academy Award-nominated '' La Cage aux Folles'' (with Michel Serrault and Ugo Tognazzi). Molinaro was active as a director until a few years before his death, although after 1985 he had almost exclusively been producing works for television. In 1996, his cinematic work was awarded the René Clair Award, a prize given by the Académie française for excellent film work. Molinaro died of a respiratory insufficiency in 2013. He was 85. Jean-Michel Ribes (born 15 December 1946, in Paris) is a French playwright, screenwriter, theatre director, film maker and actor. Since 2002 he has been the managing director of the Théâtre du Rond-Point. Between 1982 and 1984 Ribes had directed ''Merci Bernard'' and since 1988 works on ''Palace''. In 2008, Ribes had directed ''Batailles'' which he co-wrote with Roland Topor and next year became a director of the ''Un garçon impossible'', a play by Petter S. Rosenlund and 's ''Les Diablogues''. François Leterrier
François Leterrier (26 May 1929 – 4 December 2020) was a French film director and actor. He entered the film industry when he was cast in Robert Bresson's film ''A Man Escaped''. After this he went on to become a director himself. Life and career François Leterrier studied at the University of Paris where he took a degree in philosophy. During his student years he frequently attended the university's film club. He did his military service in Morocco, where he was discovered by the film director Robert Bresson, known for casting unknowns, who gave him the leading role in the 1956 film ''A Man Escaped''. After this, Leterrier was able to work as an assistant director for Louis Malle, Etienne Périer and Yves Allégret.
