Marianne Schech
Marianne Schech (18 January 1914 – 22 July 1999) was a German operatic soprano and academic who appeared internationally. She was a member of the Bavarian State Opera from 1946 to 1970. She is known for leading roles in works by Richard Wagner and Richard Strauss, playing, for example, the Dyer's Wife in the U.S. premiere of ''Die Frau ohne Schatten'' by Richard Strauss at the San Francisco Opera in 1959. She made several recordings, including in 1951 the role of Elisabeth in Wagner's ''Tannhäuser'', conducted by Robert Heger, in 1960 the role of Chrysothemis in '' Elektra'' by Richard Strauss, conducted by Karl Böhm, Senta in Wagner's ''Der fliegende Holländer'', conducted by Franz Konwitschny, and Venus in ''Tannhäuser'', also conducted by Konwitschny. Bayrischzell
Bayrischzell is a municipality in the district of Miesbach in Bavaria in Germany. Geography Bayrischzell is located in the Mangfallgebirge between Schliersee in the West and Oberaudorf in the East. It is located at the foot of Wendelstein mountain, at the foot of Sudelfeld and below the Sudelfeld pass. It lies at the northern exit of Ursprungtal. It is southeast of Miesbach, northwest of Kufstein, west of Oberaudorf. In the west of the municipality, near the border with the Schliersee municipality, is the Taubensteinhaus at altitude. Theater Münster
Theater Münster (formerly: Städtische Bühnen Münster) is a municipal theatre in Münster, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, for plays and music theatre (opera, operetta, musical, ballet). When it opened in 1956 it was regarded as the first new theatre building in Germany after World War II. It integrates some ruins of the former theatre and musical school destroyed in the war. The company performs music theatre, plays and theatre for young people (''Junges Theater''). Concert series of the orchestra also take place in its hall.
