Mariann Grammofon or Mariann Records, formed in 1972 was a record company run by Bert Karlsson in Skara, Sweden. Since May 2006 the label is owned by Warner Music Group which still, as of 2016, releases music using the label. The label was sold following changes in music industry during the previous years. Warner Music Sweden AB (previously Metronome Records) is a Swedish record company and label, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group. The Swedish division of WMG is a successor to Metronome Records, which was established in 1949 by Anders Burman, Lars Burman, and Börje Ekberg and was based in Stockholm. and concentrated on pop and jazz. Karl Glenn Martindahl (born in Bankeryd, Sweden on 5 June 1980) is a Swedish singer and son of Swedish footballer Glenn Martindahl. Beginnings Karl Martindahl had his debut in the TV program ''Söndagsöppet'' in the early 1990s as a child singer with "The Flying Eagles" and the song "Filippa". He also took part in the Swedish reality show ''Fame Factory'' for the 2003–2004 season. Jimmy Jansson
Erik Robert Jimmy Jansson (born September 17, 1985) is a Swedish singer and songwriter. At Melodifestivalen 2020 he set a new record for the amount of competing entries by a composer at one contest with six entries. Music career Jansson's music career began when he formed a rock band, The Poets, with some of his friends in 2001. That same year, they were chosen to compete in Melodifestivalen with the song "What Difference Does It Make," but did not make it to the finals. The jig (, ) is a form of lively folk dance in compound metre, as well as the accompanying dance tune. It first gained popularity in 16th-century England, Ireland, Scotland, and other parts of the British Isles, and was adopted on mainland Europe where it eventually became the final movement of the mature Baroque dance suite (the French gigue; Italian and Spanish giga). Jan Lars Persson (born 3 October 1947), known by his stage name Janne Lucas, is a Swedish singer, songwriter and musician. He is best known as the lead vocalist and primary lyricist of pop band Lucas. Early life Janne Lucas was born Jan Persson in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 3 October 1947. Herreys (), sometimes Herrey's or Herrey, is a Swedish pop group, consisting of the three brothers Per Herrey (born 9 August 1958), Richard Herrey (born 19 August 1964), and Louis Herrey (born 3 November 1966). They won the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 with the song "Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley". Richard and Louis Herrey became the first teenage males to win Eurovision and remain the youngest-ever male winners, at 19 years and 260 days and 17 years and 184 days of age, respectively. Grönwalls
Grönwalls is a dansband from Hässleholm in Sweden. The band won the Swedish dansband championships in Sunne in August 1992. Famous hit songs include '' Du ringde från Flen'' from 1993 and ''Ett liv tillsammans'', written by Calle Kindbom and Peo Pettersson, topping Svensktoppen in 1995, as well as ''Regn i mitt hjärta'' from 1996. Fame (duo)
Fame was a Swedish musical duo consisting of Jessica Andersson (born 27 October 1973 in Stockholm) and Magnus Bäcklund (born 16 November 1965 in Kristinehamn, Värmland County). They met each other at the televised arts school and contest ''Fame Factory'', which aired in autumn 2002. Bäcklund was the overall winner, while Andersson dropped out to give birth to her son Liam. Bäcklund also has two young twin daughters at home. Andersson is a former photo model and Bäcklund is a commercial pilot. Melodifestivalen In 2003, Fame won the favour of the Swedish public and the jury with the song " Give Me Your Love" in a landslide victory in Melodifestivalen 2003 at the Stockholm Globe Arena. Fame won with 240 points, overtaking such former Melodifestivalen winners as Jan Johansen, Jill Johnson and Afro-Dite, as well as the famous Swedish pop group Alcazar. Errol Leonard Norstedt (17 June 1948–17 January 2002), better known by his stage name Eddie Meduza, previously known as E. Hitler, was a Swedish composer and musician working mainly in the rockabilly genre. Drängarna (''The Farmhands'') is a Swedish rock-pop/dansband that was formed in 1995, with group members are Peter i Österöd ( Peter Simson), Sunna Robert, Lasse i Torp ( Lars McLachlan) and Olav i Fossen ( Olav Fossheim). Drängarna now consists of Johan i Backen ( Johan Sahlén) on vocals, Sunna Robert ( Robert Åhlin) on violin and vocals, and Olav i Fossen on the accordion.
