Maria Andreyevna Mironova (; born 28 May 1973) is a Soviet and Russian actress. She was named People's Artist of Russia in 2020. Biography Maria was born on 28 May 1973 in Moscow, to actors Andrei Mironov and Ekaterina Gradova. After graduating from school, she entered The Vakhtangov Theatre Academy. In 1992, she gave birth to a son, Andrei. In 1993, she turned to Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. Since 1997, she has been working at the Lenkom Theatre. Divorced since 2003. Honours She received the title of Meritorious Artist of the Russian Federation in April 2007. Maria Vladimirovna Mironova (; – 13 November 1997) was a Soviet and Russian actress who worked in film, television and theatre. She was a member of the popular comedy-duo Mironova and Menaker (), which she performed with her husband, , for decades on stage. Her son, Andrei Mironov (actor), Andrei Mironov, was a well-known actor. She was named People's Artist of the USSR by the Soviet government in 1991. Life and career Mironova was born in Moscow to Elizaveta Ivanovna Firsova, a schoolteacher, and Vladimir Nikolayevich Mironov, a merchant from a family. In 1927, Mironova graduated from the Lunacharsky State Institute for Theatre Arts ( the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts).
