Maria Lundqvist
Annika Maria Lundqvist (born 14 October 1963) is a Swedish actress and comedian. Born in Gothenburg, Lundqvist studied acting at the Gothenburg Theatre Academy and has since been acting at various Swedish theatres, including the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm. Her breakthrough as a comedian came when she portrayed a comic character named ''Sally'' in a TV-show with the same name in 1998. She has also starred in musicals in Sweden. For her film acting, she has received two Guldbagge awards. She had a leading role in the 2015 comedy film En underbar jävla jul ''Holy Mess'' () is a Swedish comedy film which premiered on 13 November 2015. ''Mother of Mine'' (, ) is a 2005 Finnish drama film directed by Klaus Härö. The film is based on a novel by Heikki Hietamies. The Swedish Film Institute () (SFI) is a statutory body located in Stockholm, Sweden that supports the Swedish film industry. Founded in 1963, the institute is responsible for administering the annual Guldbagge Awards, and for managing the Swedish Film Database. It was released in the US as ''The Bomber'' which is a direct translation of its original Swedish title ''Sprängaren'' which is the same as the novel by Liza Marklund from which it was adapted. Plot Annika Bengtzon, an up-and-coming young reporter for Kvällspressens newspaper, is called to the scene of a possible terrorist attack on the new Olympic Arena, Victoria Stadium in Stockholm, where the northern part of the arena has been blown to pieces.
