Margot Desvignes
Margot Huot-Marchand (born 10 June 2000) is a French ice hockey Forward (ice hockey), forward and member of the France women's national ice hockey team, French national team. She plays in the Swedish Nationella Damhockeyligan (NDHL) with Rögle BK. Career Before beginning to play ice hockey at the age of 13, Desvignes was a Speed skating, speed skater. In 2018, she left France to sign with HC Université Neuchâtel in the Women's League (Switzerland), Swiss Women's Hockey League A (SWHL A). After two years in Switzerland, Desvignes signed with Göteborg HC in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). International She represented France at the 2019 IIHF Women's World Championship. Forward (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, a forward is a player, and a position on the ice, whose primary responsibility is to score and assist goals. Generally, the forwards try to stay in three different lanes of the ice from goal to goal. It is not mandatory, however, to stay in a lane. Staying in a lane aids in forming the common offensive strategy known as a triangle. One forward obtains the puck and then the forwards pass it between themselves making the goalie move side to side. This strategy opens up the net for scoring opportunities. This strategy allows for a constant flow of the play, attempting to maintain the control of play by one team in the offensive zone. The forwards can pass to the defence players playing at the Blue line (ice hockey), blue line, thus freeing up the play and allowing either a shot from the point (blue line position where the defence stands) or a pass back to the offence. The 2019–20 Swiss League season was the 34th season of the Swiss Women's League A. Shortly before the third playoff final match between the ZSC Lions Women and the Neuchâtel Hockey Academy, the season was cancelled on March 12, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The SWHL A game mode provides a preliminary round (phase 1) with 10 matches per team and a Masterround with 10 additional matches per team.
