Margaliot ( he, מַרְגָּלִיּוֹת; ar, هونين) is a moshav in northern Israel. Located along the border with Lebanon in the Upper Galilee, near the town of Kiryat Shmona, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mevo'ot HaHermon Regional Council. Jamie Margolin (born December 10, 2001) is an American climate justice activist. She is the Co-Executive director of Zero Hour. Education Margolin attended Holy Names Academy. She currently studies film at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Eliezer Margolin
Eliezer Margolin ( he, אליעזר מרגולין; February 5, 1875 – June 2, 1944) was a Russian-born Australian Jew who served as a commander of the Jewish Legion during World War I. Life Margolin was born on February 5, 1875 in Belgorod, Kursk Governorate, Russia, the son of Murdochy Joseph Margolin and Llata Carlin. In 1892, Margolin immigrated to Ottoman Palestine with his family and settled in Rehovot. He became involved in agricultural labor and defense. Due to the death of his parents and the poor economic conditions in the region, he immigrated to Australia in 1902. He then spent the next two years living in Perth, Coolgardie, Kalgoorlie, and Lawlers. Efraim Margolin is an Israeli-American businessman and philanthropist, founder of Margolin Consultants Inc, an employment and Merger and Acquisitions Company in New York City. He is a native of Ukraine, who immigrated to Palestine when he was a small child. Growing up with a father who was a local leader of the Haganah Jewish Underground Militia, he became one of the young engineers during World War II working for the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company in Iran and later, as Manager in Bahrain Island constructing an airport for the British Air Force. Deb Margolin is an American performance artist and playwright. She came to prominence in the 1980s in the feminist political theatre troupe Split Britches, which she co-founded with Lois Weaver and Peggy Shaw. Margolin has since created a string of one-woman shows. A compilation of her texts, ''Of All The Nerve: Deb Margolin SOLO'', was published in 1999 by Cassell/Continuum Press. Dansette was a British brand of record players, radiograms, tape recorders, and radio sets, manufactured by the London firm of J & A Margolin Ltd, Record player The first Dansette record player was manufactured in 1952 and at least one million were sold in the 1950s and 1960s. Carol Heifetz Neiman (1937 – 1990) was an American artist who was a member of the feminist art movement of the 1970s, known for her surrealist and xerox art. She also created etchings, and worked in pencil, pastels, and mixed media and was a painter. Early life Carol Neiman was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1937 to Benjamin Neiman and Lillian Heifetz. She married Lionel Margolin in 1957. They first moved to New York for his medical residency at Bellevue Hospital, where Ms. Neiman taught 8th grade art class in New York. They moved to Los Angeles in 1961, and had two children. Bruce Margolin (born September 11, 1941) is an American criminal defense attorney who specializes in marijuana and drug laws. Since 1973, he has served as the executive director of the Los Angeles chapter of NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws).
