Margo L. Davidson
Margo Lomax Davidson (born September 27, 1962) is a former Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 164th Legislative District from 2011 until her resignation on July 22, 2021 due to criminal charges. The district included parts of Upper Darby Township, and the boroughs of East Lansdowne and Millbourne. Early life and education The oldest of three children, Davidson was born in West Philadelphia, where she and her siblings were raised by their single mother. She graduated from the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts in 1980. The first in her family to graduate college, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Temple University in 1988. WDAS (1480 kHz) is an AM radio station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Owned and operated by iHeartMedia, the station airs a sports format as an affiliate of Fox Sports Radio. WDAS's studios and offices are located in Bala Cynwyd. WDAS's transmitter is located near Fairmount Park, off West Ford Road. By day, the station is powered at 5,000 watts; to avoid interfering with other stations on 1480 AM, it reduces power to 1,000 watts at night and uses a directional antenna at all times. Pennsylvania's 5th Congressional District
Pennsylvania's fifth congressional district encompasses all of Delaware County, an exclave of Chester County, a small portion of southern Montgomery County and a section of southern Philadelphia. Democrat Mary Gay Scanlon represents the district. Prior to 2018, the fifth district was located in north-central Pennsylvania and was the largest in area, and therefore least densely populated, of all of Pennsylvania's congressional districts. It was Republican-leaning and represented by Glenn Thompson ( R). The ''Daily Local News'' is an American daily newspaper based in Chester County, Pennsylvania, also offering limited coverage of neighboring Lancaster and Delaware counties. It covers local and national news, sports, culture, and entertainment. The paper published its first issue in West Chester on November 19, 1872. The MediaNews Group owns the paper. History The founder of the ''Daily Local News'' was William H. Hodgson, son of John Hodgson, who published ''The Jeffersonian'', a West Chester weekly affiliated with the Democratic Party, from 1855 to 1910. Joshua David Shapiro (born June 20, 1973) is an American politician and attorney who has served as the Pennsylvania Attorney General since 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, he is the governor-elect of Pennsylvania.
