Dagmar of Bohemia (also known as Margaret, ; 1186 – 24 May 1212 in Ribe) was queen consort of Denmark, Queen of Denmark as the first spouse of King Valdemar II. She was the daughter of King Ottokar I of Bohemia and his first wife, Adelaide of Meissen. Early life Margaret's father, Ottokar I of Bohemia, Ottokar I, became Duke of Bohemia in 1192, but in 1193 was deposed. He then left Bohemia with his family. His wife, Adelaide of Meissen, Adelaide, and their children found a new home at the court of her brother Albert I, Margrave of Meissen. Ottokar became a mercenary for Holy Roman Emperors, German rulers. In 1197, Ottokar became the Duke of Bohemia for a second time. He repudiated Adelaide and divorced her in 1199 on the grounds of consanguinity. He married Constance of Hungary later the same year. Margaret of Bohemia (; 1313–11 July 1341), also Margaret of Luxembourg (), was the daughter of John of Luxembourg, King of Bohemia by his first wife, Elizabeth of Bohemia. Family Margaret's maternal grandparents were Wenceslaus II of Bohemia and his first wife, Judith of Habsburg. Her paternal grandparents were, Henry VII, Holy Roman Emperor and his wife Margaret of Brabant. Her younger brother was crowned Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor in 1349, and her other siblings included Bonne of Luxembourg, wife of John II of France; John Henry, Margrave of Moravia; and Anne of Bohemia, Duchess of Austria, wife of Otto, Duke of Austria. When Margaret was about seventeen, her mother died. Her father decided to remarry, he married Beatrice of Bourbon. Margaret of Bohemia (24 May 1335 – 1349, before October), also known as Margaret of Luxembourg, was a Queen consort of Hungary by her marriage to Louis I of Hungary. She was the second child of Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor by his first wife Blanche of Valois. She was a member of the House of Luxembourg. Life Margaret was the second child of her father's first marriage. She was betrothed at the age of two to Amadeus VI, Count of Savoy, the contract being signed on 7 March 1338. The contract was, however, broken and Amadeus married Margaret's cousin, Bonne of Bourbon. At the age of seven, Margaret was married in 1342 to Louis I of Hungary. The marriage lasted seven years and no children were born of the union, probably because of Margaret's young age. She died in 1349 while still a minor, aged around fourteen, and was probably buried in Székesfehérvár Basilica. She had outlived her mother, Blanche, by only one year.
