Marek Rutkiewicz
Marek Rutkiewicz (born 8 May 1981) is a Polish former road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2001 and 2020 for seven different teams. Rutkiewicz's strength was in climbing and his victories came in hilly races, including the mountains classification at the 2009 Tour de Pologne. He now works as a directeur sportif for UCI Continental team . Personal life Rutkiewicz is married to fellow cyclist Anna Szafraniec. 2015 Brabantse Pijl
The 2015 Brabantse Pijl was the 55th edition of the Brabantse Pijl (men's race), Brabantse Pijl road cycling race. Held on 15 April 2015, it started in Leuven and ended later in Overijse. It was a 1.HC-ranked race that was part of the 2015 UCI Europe Tour. The main difficulty in the race was caused by 26 climbs, as well as twisting roads in the final part of the route. The race was won from the breakaway by Ben Hermans (). A group of fourteen riders finished two seconds behind, with Michael Matthews (cyclist), Michael Matthews () second and the defending champion Philippe Gilbert () third. Danmark Rundt is a Danish multi-day professional road cycling race. It is currently sponsored by the Danish national postal agency, PostNord, and the race is therefore also known as PostNord Danmark Rundt. The race is sometimes called the Tour of Denmark in English language media. The race has been on the UCI ProSeries calendar since 2021, after being cancelled in 2020. Course Traditionally, the race starts off on the Jutland peninsula and ends on the island of Zealand – on Frederiksberg Allé in Copenhagen. Egmont Cycling Race
Egmont Cycling Race is a single-day road bicycle race held annually in August in Zottegem, Belgium. Since 2005, the race is organized as a 1.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour. The race started out as 'Dokter Tistaertprijs' in 1934. Between 1971 and 1998 it was called 'Herinneringsprijs Dokter Tistaert – Prijs Groot-Zottegem'. In 1999 it changed to 'G.P. Zottegem – Tistaertprijs'. In 2002 'Tistaertprijs' disappeared in the name. It was called GP Stad Zottegem until 2020. Since 2020 the organization continued under the name 'Egmont Cycling Race'. Tour of Malopolska ( Polish: ''Małopolski Wyścig Górski'') is an annual, professional men's multiple-stage cycling race in Lesser Poland Voivodeship. Since 2005, it has been part of the UCI Europe Tour. History The race was first held in 1961 and is one of the oldest bicycle races in Poland. Zbigniew Piątek holds the record for the most victories with three, in 1989, 1998 and 2001. The race usually consists of three or four stages as well as a prologue. The prologue is usually organized at the Main Market Square in Kraków and the points won are included in the general classification. Most of the race consists of hilly or mountain stages. Since 2015, the first stage of Tour of Małopolska has been taking place on the Alwernia – Trzebinia route. The most recent winner is Márton Dina of Hungary.
