Mareike Wulf
Mareike Lotte Wulf (born 15 November 1979) is a German politician (Christian Democratic Union of Germany, CDU) who has been serving as a Member of the German Bundestag, member of the German Bundestag since 2021. From 2017 to 2021, she was a member of the Landtag of Lower Saxony, Lower Saxony state parliament. In addition to her work in parliament, Wulf has been serving as Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth in the Merz cabinet, government of Chancellor of Germany, Chancellor Friedrich Merz since 2025. Early life and career After graduating from the Herbartgymnasium Oldenburg in 1999, Wulf studied cultural studies in Frankfurt (Oder) up to intermediate diploma. Hameln-Pyrmont - Holzminden
Hameln-Pyrmont is a district (''Landkreis'') in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is bounded by (from the north and clockwise) the districts of Schaumburg, Hanover, Hildesheim and Holzminden, and by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (district of Lippe). History A district called Hameln was established in 1885 within the Prussian Province of Hanover. At that time the city of Pyrmont was part of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont. In 1921 Pyrmont decided in a plebiscite to leave Waldeck-Pyrmont and to join Prussia. The Prussian administration assigned the city to the district of Hameln, which was renamed to Hameln-Pyrmont. Grant Hendrik Tonne (born 22 June 1976) is a German politician who became Minister for Education for Lower Saxony in 2017. Since 2020 he has been a member of the Landtag of Lower Saxony.
