Marcus Henry (wide Receiver)
Marcus Henry (born February 21, 1986) is an American former professional football wide receiver. After playing college football for Kansas, he was selected by the New York Jets in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL draft. He played for the Edmonton Eskimos, Ottawa Redblacks, and Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Professional career New York Jets The New York Jets drafted Henry in the sixth round (171st overall) of the 2008 NFL draft. Henry was considered a "developing" prospect; however, his height advantage attracted the Jets' attention. The Jets signed Henry to a rookie contract on June 6, 2008. Henry made the active roster however he was inactive for the first two games of the season until he was waived by the team on September 22, 2008. The 2007 Texas A&M Aggies football team (often referred to as "A&M" or the "Aggies") represented Texas A&M University in the 2007 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Dennis Franchione, who had coached at A&M since the 2003 season, but resigned at the conclusion of the annual game with the Texas Longhorns football, Texas Longhorns.
