Marcquise Reed
Marcquise DeAndre Reed (born April 21, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for Tofaş of Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). He played college basketball for Clemson. High school career Reed attended St. Vincent Pallotti High School, where he was coached by Shae Johnson. His teammate, former St. John's and Texas Tech player Tariq Owens, received more attention from college coaches, who were often surprised by the play of Reed. As a senior, he transferred to Capitol Christian Academy and averaged 31.2 points per game, He received scholarship offers from the likes of Quinnipiac, Drexel, LIU-Brooklyn and UMBC and committed to Robert Morris. Reed cited the program's winning tradition as well as the relative proximity to his home in Maryland. The Clemson Tigers men's basketball team is a college basketball program that represents Clemson University and competes in the NCAA Division I. Tariq Amir Owens (born June 30, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for Sagesse Club of the Lebanese Basketball League (LBL). He played college basketball for the Texas Tech Red Raiders and St. John's having transferred after his freshman year at Tennessee. Early life Owens mother died of pancreatic cancer when he was 14 years old. Owens attended St. Vincent Pallotti High School, where he was coached by Shae Johnson.
