Marco Sanges
Marco Sanges is a photographer from Ostia, Rome. He has worked for Vogue Italia, Dolce&Gabbana, and published on several art and fashion magazines such as Sunday Telegraph. Biography Sanges lives in London, where he is known for his publications and exhibitions. He often works with filmmaker Alberto Bona, with whom he co-directed ''Pondering of a Lonely Wonderer'' and ''La sonnambula''. His photographic book ''Circumstances'' became a film, awarded at the Portobello Film Festival in 2008. Sanges is now developing the project ''Portraits'', whose preview appeared on the website of la Repubblica. His exhibition Big Scenes has been hosted at the Hackney Empire Hackney Empire is a theatre on Mare Street, in the London Borough of Hackney. Ostia (quarter Of Rome)
Ostia (, ; officially Lido di Ostia) is a large neighbourhood in the X Municipio of the ''comune'' of Rome, Italy, near the ancient port of Rome, which is now a major archaeological site known as Ostia Antica. Ostia is also the only or district of Rome on the Tyrrhenian Sea, and many Romans spend the summer holidays there. Alberto Bona
Alberto Bona (born 7 November 1978) is an Italian actor, playwright and film director. Biography Alberto Bona started his career as a cartoonist in Italy, before moving to London, where he started to work within theatre and independent film productions. He wrote and starred in the surrealistic play ''Salvador!'' staged at the Barons Court Theatre in 2004, where he played surrealist Salvador Dalí. This play led the photographer Marco Sanges to ask Bona to pose for a series of portraits. It began a creative collaboration culminating with the art film ''Circumstances'', awarded as 'Best Art Film' at the Portobello Film Festival in 2008. The Portobello Film Festival is an independent international film festival based in London, which annually premiers over 700 new films, including features, shorts, documentaries, music films, and animation. Hackney Empire is a theatre on Mare Street, in the London Borough of Hackney. Originally designed by Frank Matcham it was built in 1901 as a music hall, and expanded in 2001.
