Marcin Firlej
Marcin Firlej (born May 4, 1975, in Rejowiec Fabryczny) is a Polish journalist, writer and war correspondent. Career As of April 2009, he is a permanent correspondent of the public Polish Television (TVP) in Washington, DC. He previously worked as a war correspondent for TVN24 (2001–2008) and investigative reporter for RMF FM radio (2005–2008). He covered wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Gaza Strip. April 8, 2003 Marcin Firlej with Jacek Kaczmarek (Polskie Radio – public Polish Radio) were captured by Republican Guard gunmen near Al-Hillah in Central Iraq. During imprisonment, the two journalists were taken to a school where they were interrogated and accused of spying. They escaped the next day during the American attack on the city. Rejowiec Fabryczny
Rejowiec Fabryczny (; uk, Рейовець-Фабричний, Reyovetsʹ-Fabrychnyy) is a town in Poland, in Lublin Voivodeship, in Chełm County. It has 4,419 inhabitants (2016). Rejowiec Fabryczny is a rail junction, located on the main Warsaw - Lublin - Chełm connection. Also, another line originates in Rejowiec Fabryczny, which goes southwards to Zamość. History First settlements located in what now is Rejowiec Fabryczny were mentioned in the 13th century document, when this area belonged to Kingdom of Galicia–Volhynia. Discovery Historia
Discovery Historia is a Polish television channel broadcasting history-related programmes. The channel was originally a joint-venture between Discovery Networks and TVN, but TVN left the venture in 2009. ( Discovery later acquired TVN Owner Scripps.) It is headed by Barbara Bilińska-Kępa. From its launch, the channel featured some Polish productions, such as ''Wielkie Ucieczki'', ''Rozmowy niekontrolowane Macieja Szumowskiego'', ''Historie z Karty'' and ''Archiwum X.
