Marcelo Barticciotto
Marcelo Pablo Barticciotto Cicaré (born 1 January 1967) is an Argentine-Chilean former footballer and manager. Club career In 1987, Barticciotto made his professional debut with Huracán of the National B Division in Argentina. Barticciotto arrived to Chilean club Colo-Colo in 1988, where he would become an idol to supporters. Barticciotto won seven national championships and three international championships in twelve years with the club. The most important of those championships was the Copa Libertadores 1991, where he scored three goals. Colo-Colo is the only Chilean team to ever win the Copa Libertadores. After these accomplishments, Barticciotto signed for Club América in Mexico. However, he did not experience the same form he had in Chile and in 1995 returned to Chile to sign for Colo-Colo's rival Universidad Católica. His time here was even shorter. The 2009 Copa Libertadores de América (officially the 2009 Copa Santander Libertadores de América for sponsorship reasons) was the 50th edition of the Copa Libertadores de América, CONMEBOL's premier annual international club tournament. The tournament was won by Argentine club Estudiantes de La Plata, who achieved their fourth Copa Libertadores title and first in 39 years. Since the inception of a preliminary round in 2004, they are the first club to start in that round and win the Copa Libertadores. Copa Chile
The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División. Since the season 2009, the winners obtained a direct Copa Sudamericana spot for the next season, however this was change starting from the 2015 edition; since then the winners obtains a direct Copa Libertadores spot for the next season.
