Marcelle Tascher De La Pagerie
Marie-Marseille-Adéle "Marcelle" Tascher de la Pagerie née Clary (1792–1866) was a French countess. She served as ''överhovmästarinna'' for her paternal aunt, the Swedish Queen Désirée Clary. Marcelle Tascher de la Pagerie was the daughter of Etienne-Francois Clary (1757–1823) and Catherine-Marguerite-Marseille Guey (d. 1804) and married the cousin of Empress Josephine de Beauharnais, count Henri de Tascher de la Pagerie (d. 1816). In 1823, she accompanied her paternal aunt to Sweden, when Désirée went there to assume her post as Queen at the occasion of her son's wedding to Josephine of Leuchtenberg. Among the rest of the French retinue was the sons of marshal Michel Ney as well as the two female and one male chamber servant Eleonore Felix, Virginie Brunot and Louis Brunot. Vilhelmina Gyldenstolpe, née ''De Geer'' (16 December 1779, Stockholm-31 December 1858, Stockholm), was a Swedish court official. She served as ''överhovmästarinna'' (Senior lady-in-waiting) to the queen and later queen dowager of Sweden, Désirée Clary, from 1829 to 1858. Life She was the daughter of courtier baron Charles De Geer (1747–1805) and Eleonora Vilhelmina von Höpken. She was thus the sister of Carl De Geer (1781–1861) and sister-in-law of Hans Henric von Essen. She married the courtier count Carl Edvard Gyldenstolpe (1770-1852) in 1798, with whom she had eight children. Her spouse had previously been engaged to Lolotte Forssberg, the alleged daughter of her father's first wife Ulla von Liewen and Adolf Frederick, King of Sweden. Carl Abraham Arfwedson (1774–1861) was a Swedish silk merchant, director and etching artist. Biography Carl Abraham Arfwedson was born to the rich trade merchant Carl Kristoffer Arfwedson (1735–1826) and Charlotta von Langenberg. He was the brother of Charlotta Arfwedson (1776–1862). His brother-in-law, Carl Carlsson Mörner (1755–1821) served as Governor-general of Norway. He was raised to take over the successful trading company ''Tottie & Arfwedson'' of his father and grandfather, and made several study trips abroad. One of them was made to the French firm Clary in Marseilles, where he spent some time employed in the company of Clary, whose daughter Désirée Clary was eventually to be the queen consort of Sweden. He returned to Sweden permanently in 1808 and took over the company as director upon the death of his father in 1826. Joseph Bonaparte (born Giuseppe di Buonaparte, ; ; ; 7 January 176828 July 1844) was a French statesman, lawyer, diplomat and older brother of Napoleon Bonaparte. Caroline (Karolina Juliana Anna Ulrika) Lewenhaupt (1754–1826) was a Swedish courtier, poet and amateur actress. Life Caroline Lewenhaupt was born at Oberbronn, the daughter of Count Adam Lewenhaupt and Carolina Christina Anna Louise Sinclair.
