Marc Van Eeghem
Marc Van Eeghem (14 September 1960 – 14 December 2017) was a Belgian actor. Career Theatre Van Eeghem studied acting at the Studio Herman Teirlinck until 1983. That year marked the start of a career in theater, in addition to roles in feature films and television series. In the theater he played for the Flemish and Dutch companies Arca, De Tijd, Het Zuidelijk Toneel, Toneelhuis, DAS theater and 't Arsenaal. He made his name in productions such as The Man Without Qualities, Desperado, Hamlet vs Hamlet, The Blind, Maria Stuart and Passions Humaines. Movie and television work It is a somewhat ironic twist of fate that the authentic theater man Marc Van Eeghem became popular with his television work. There are few series in the nineties and noughties on the Flemish broadcasters VRT and VTM in which he has not appeared. And always with commitment and conviction, with strength and talent. Kulderzipken is a Flemish television series that premiered in 1995. Two seasons of ten episodes each have been made since then. The final episode aired in 1996. Concept Once upon a time there was, in country far, far, far away, a king called Jozef (Jan Decleir), and his wife, queen Angina (Karine Tanghe). King Jozef thought the time was right for his daughter, princess Prieeltje ( Ianka Fleerackers), to get married and king Jozef set up a special contest. The first young man to pull the three golden hairs out of Mother Devil's head got the chance to marry the princess. The contest was won by Kulderzipken (Michael Pas), a simple country lad.
