Marc Thuet
Marc Thuet (born 1963) is a chef based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, who most recently appeared in his second season of a docu-reality TV series called '' Conviction Kitchen'' in which he trains 12 ex-cons to run a restaurant in Toronto. Life and career Born in Alsace, France, Thuet is a fourth-generation chef who began his apprenticeship in his uncle's restaurant at age twelve. He received his formal training at the Lycée Hotelier in Strasbourg, France. During his early professional years, Thuet worked in two and three star Michelin restaurants and hotels across Europe, including London's Dorchester under the tutelage of chef Anton Mosimann. Thuet has headed the kitchen of many Toronto restaurants. Anton Mosimann
Anton Mosimann OBE, DL (born 23 February 1947) is a Swiss chef and restaurateur who was ''Maitre Chef des Cuisines'' at the Dorchester Hotel for thirteen years, during which time its restaurant achieved a rating of two stars in the ''Michelin Guide''. After leaving The Dorchester Mosimann took over a private dining club called The Belfrey and created Mosimann's, a cookery school, and other enterprises in the hospitality industry. King Street is a major east–west commercial thoroughfare in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was one of the first streets laid out in the 1793 plan of the town of York, which became Toronto in 1834. After the construction of the Market Square in 1803 at King and Jarvis streets, to house the first St. Lawrence Market farmer's market, the street became the primary commercial street of York and early Toronto.
