Marc Ryan Tan
Marc Ryan Tan Wei Ming (born 18 January 2002) is a Singaporean former professional footballer who played as a left-winger, right-winger or right-midfielder. He is the son of former Singapore International footballer, Steven Tan. Club career Early career Marc, together with 4 other boys, impressed West Ham's academy coaches, who conducted a training camp for about 25 youth footballers in Singapore in November 2015. They later went on trials and trainings with English clubs such as Wolverhampton Wanderers, Stoke City, Charlton Athletic FC and West Ham academy teams in 2016. The attacker models his game on Chile international Alexis Sánchez and England star Raheem Sterling. Young Lions Marc signed with the Young Lions in 2019. Steven Tan
Steven Tan Teng Chuan (born 28 December 1970) is a Singaporean former footballer who played for the Singapore national team during the 1990s as a striker. He was best known for coming off the bench as a substitute and scoring the all-important goals during the Malaysia Cup season, earning himself the nickname of the "Super Steve" or "Super sub". He was part of the squad which won the Malaysia Cup in the 1994 FAM League season. Coaching career On 6 January 2011, Tan was appointed as the head coach of Tampines Rovers FC for the 2011 S-League season replacing Vorawan Chitavanich who moved up to become the club technical director. Tampines Rovers won the league in 2011. Tan held this role until August 2012, where he was replaced by Tay Peng Kee after a series of poor results. The Singapore Premier League, commonly abbreviated as the SPL, officially known as the AIA Singapore Premier League for sponsorship reasons, is a men's professional football league sanctioned by the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), which represents the sport's highest level in the Singapore football league system.
