Marc Gascoigne
Marc Gascoigne is a British author and editor. He is the editor, author or co-author of more than fifty books and gaming related titles, including '' Fighting Fantasy'' books, ''Shadowrun'' novels and adventures, '' Earthdawn'' novels and adventures, the original Games Workshop ''Judge Dredd'' roleplaying game, and material for ''Paranoia'', '' Call of Cthulhu'' and many others listed below. Biography Marc Gascoigne co-wrote Games Workshop's original '' Judge Dredd Roleplaying Game'' and Puffin's mass-market '' Advanced Fighting Fantasy'' trilogy. Gascoigne also published ''Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay''. He has also written and edited for Chaosium, West End Games, and FASA. Gascoigne was the developer or editor of several of GW's classic boardgames in the mid-1980s, including the first two editions of '' Blood Bowl'', and created the background for '' Dark Future'', ported onto the car-based boardgame after the cancellation of an original cyberpunk-themed roleplaying game. FASA
FASA Corporation was an American publisher of role-playing games, wargaming, wargames and board games between 1980 and 2001, after which they closed publishing operations for several years, becoming an IP holding company under the name FASA Inc. In 2012, a wholly owned subsidiary called FASA Games Inc. went into operation, using the name and logo under license from the parent company. FASA Games Inc. works alongside Ral Partha Europe, also a subsidiary of FASA Corporation, to bring out new editions of existing properties such as Earthdawn and Demonworld, and to develop new properties within the FASA cosmology. Andy Jones is a game designer who has worked primarily on Miniatures wargaming, wargames and board games. Rick Priestley
Richard "Rick" Priestley (born 29 March 1959) is an English miniature wargame designer and writer. He co-created the miniature wargame ''Warhammer Fantasy Battle'' and its science fiction counterpart ''Warhammer 40,000'' during his tenure at Games Workshop in the 1980s and 1990s. Following his time at Games Workshop, he went on to establish Warlord Games and co-create other titles such as ''Bolt Action''. Early life and education Priestley was born on 29 March 1959 in Lincoln, England. He studied Archaeology at Lancaster University, graduating in 1981. Career Rick Priestley, with Bryan Ansell and Richard Halliwell, designed the fantasy miniature wargame ''Warhammer Fantasy Battle'' for Games Workshop. The company released the game in 1983. Solaris Books is an imprint which focuses on publishing science fiction, fantasy and dark fantasy novels and anthologies. The range includes titles by both established and new authors. The range is owned by Rebellion Developments and distributed to the UK and US booktrade via local divisions of Simon & Schuster. Black Industries
Black Industries was the role-playing game imprint of BL Publishing, the publishing arm of Games Workshop. It was announced on January 28, 2008 that it would cease operations after its products currently scheduled for release are published. BL Publishing
BL Publishing was a division of Games Workshop, and was split into three sections: * The Black Library publishes novels, art books, background books and graphic novels set in the Warhammer Fantasy world and the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Black Library is now a separate division of Games Workshop, and the only former BL Publishing division still in existence. * Black Flame published science fiction and horror novels based on licensed third party intellectual property. It was disbanded in 2008. * Warhammer Historical Wargames published historical wargames including Warhammer Ancient Battles. It was disbanded in November 2010. The Black Library is a division of Games Workshop (formerly a part of BL Publishing) which is devoted to publishing List of Black Library novels, novels and audiobooks (and has previously produced art books, background books, and graphic novels) set in the ''Warhammer Fantasy Battle, Warhammer Age of Sigmar'' and ''Warhammer 40,000'' fictional universes.
