Marc Del Gaizo
Marc Douglas Del Gaizo (born October 11, 1999) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman for the Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the fourth round, 109th overall, by the Nashville Predators in the 2019 NHL entry draft. Early life Born and raised in the Basking Ridge section of Bernards Township, New Jersey, Del Gaizo graduated in 2018 from Ridge High School. The 2017–18 USHL Season (sports), season was the 39th List of USHL seasons, season of the United States Hockey League as an all-junior league. The regular season ran from October 6, 2017, to April 14, 2018. The regular season champions, the Waterloo Black Hawks, were awarded the Anderson Cup. The playoff champions, the Fargo Force, were awarded the List of USHL Champions, Clark Cup. League changes The Bloomington Thunder were rebranded as the Central Illinois Flying Aces. The Muskegon Lumberjacks are a Tier I junior ice hockey team in the Eastern Conference of the United States Hockey League. They play in Muskegon, Michigan, at Trinity Health Arena. A penalty in ice hockey is a punishment for an infringement of the rules. Most penalties are enforced by sending the offending player to a penalty box for a set number of minutes. During the penalty the player may not participate in play.
