Marc Blondin
Marc Blondin is a French Canadian professional wrestling commentator, ring announcer and promoter. He started his wrestling career in 1986 for the World Wrestling Federation and worked there until 1991. Blondin was also the main French language announcer for World Championship Wrestling, most notably for WCW Power Hour with Richard Charland, as well as the World Wrestling Federation in Quebec, Canada throughout the 1990s. Since 2004, he has co-hosted the French-language version of TNA Impact! with Pierre-Carl Ouellette and Sylvain Grenier at RDS studios. He later became part owner of Top of the World Wrestling (TOW)with Grenier and fellow RDS announcer Jean-François Kelly. He also does English Color Commentary for the DVD releases alongside Ryan Rider who does the Play-by-Play. List Of WCW Pay-per-view Events
This is a list of all closed-circuit television and pay-per-view events held by World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and its predecessor Jim Crockett Promotions (JCP). From 1983–1987, these events aired live on closed-circuit television under the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) banner. Beginning in 1987, the events would air live on pay-per-view television. In November 1988, JCP sold its assets to the Turner Broadcasting System, which rebranded the company as World Championship Wrestling; they would later leave the NWA in 1991. In 1998 and early 1999, PPV events were promoted using the dual WCW/ nWo brands. In 2001, the World Wrestling Federation (now known as WWE) purchased the assets of WCW, including the video libraries of all previous NWA and WCW pay-per-views, and the ownership rights of the names of these events. Canal Indigo is a Canadian English and French language pay-per-view and Near Video on Demand provider owned by Vidéotron. The service was launched on August 26, 1996. Channels and content Canal Indigo PPV service consists of 11 standard definition channels and two high definition channels. Jacques Rougeau Jr. (born June 13, 1960) is a Canadian former professional wrestler best known for his appearances in the 1980s and 1990s with the World Wrestling Federation. He began his career under his real name as half of the tag team The Fabulous Rougeaus with his brother Raymond Rougeau. In sports broadcasting, a sports commentator (also known as sports announcer or sportscaster) provides a real-time commentary of a game or event, usually during a live broadcast, traditionally delivered in the historical present tense. Radio was the first medium for sports broadcasts, and radio commentators must describe all aspects of the action to listeners who cannot see it for themselves.
