Marc Andrieu
Marc Andrieu (born 19 September 1959, in Carmaux) is a former French rugby union player and coach. He played as a wing and as a centre. Club career Andrieu first played for US Carmaux, since 1974/75, reaching the first team in 1977/78. He moved to AS Béziers in 1979/80, where he would stay until 1982/83. He won three titles of the Top 14, in 1979/80, 1980/81 and 1982/83. He was runners-up of the Challenge Yves du Manoir twice, in 1980 and 1981. He moved afterwards to RC Nîmes, where he played from 1983/84 to 1992/93, when he finished his career. International career Andrieu had 26 caps for France from 1986 to 1990, scoring 6 tries, 24 points on aggregate. He played at the Five Nations Championship in 1988, 1989, and 1990. He won the tournament twice, in 1988, ex-aequo with Wales, and 1989. He was called for the 1987 Rugby World Cup, playing in two games and scoring a try. Carmaux
Carmaux (; ) is a Communes of France, commune in the Tarn (department), Tarn Departments of France, department in southern France. Industries The Compagnie minière de Carmaux has its origins in a coal mining concession granted in 1852 to Gabriel de Solages, which became the Compagnie minière de Carmaux. He also founded a glass bottle factory, fueled by the coal. Carmaux was famous for its industries of coal mining (from the thirteenth century to 2000) and its Glassblowing, glassworks (from the eighteenth century to 1931). Geography The Cérou flows northwestward through the commune and crosses the town. Carmaux station has rail connections to Toulouse, Albi and Rodez. AS Béziers Hérault
Association sportive de Béziers Hérault (; ), often referred to by rugby media simply by its location of Béziers, is a French rugby union club currently playing in the second level of the country's professional rugby system, Pro D2. They earned their most recent promotion as the 2011 Fédérale 1 champions, but the club also won 11 Top 14 titles since its establishment in 1911. Béziers was a major force in French rugby throughout the 1970s and 1980s; however, at the end of 2004–05 season they were relegated to Pro D2. After some years playing in the French second division, they finished bottom of the table in 2008–09 and were relegated to amateur Fédérale 1, before returning to Pro D2 after their 2011 title.
