Marat Khusnutdinov
Marat Azamatovich Khusnutdinov (; ; born 17 July 2002) is a Russian ice hockey centre for the Boston Bruins in the National Hockey League (NHL). Khusnutdinov was drafted by the Minnesota Wild in the second round of the 2020 NHL entry draft with the 37th overall pick. Playing career Khusnutdinov made his Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) debut for SKA Saint Petersburg during the 2020–21 season. In the 2023–24 season, his fourth with SKA, Khusnutdinov went scoreless through 6 games before he was traded to HC Sochi in exchange for Borna Rendulić on 10 October 2023. He featured in 49 regular season games with Sochi, collecting 6 goals and 20 points, as the team finished out of post-season contention. After terminating the remainder of his contract with Sochi at the completion of the season, Khusnutdinov was immediately signed by the Minnesota Wild to a two-year, entry-level contract on 28 February 2024. The 2023–24 NHL season was the 107th season of operation (106th season of play) of the National Hockey League (NHL). The regular season began on October 10, 2023, and ended on April 18, 2024. 2021–22 KHL Season
The 2021–22 KHL season was the 14th season of the Kontinental Hockey League. There were 24 teams that competed in 56 regular season games, beginning on 1 September 2021 and was scheduled to finish on 1 March 2022. However, the COVID-19 pandemic in Russia resulted in more than 50 games being postponed prior to the break for the 2022 Winter Olympics, and in February, it was announced that no further regular season games would be played following the break. Penalty (ice Hockey)
A penalty in ice hockey is a punishment for an infringement of the rules. Most penalties are enforced by sending the offending player to a penalty box for a set number of minutes. During the penalty the player may not participate in play.
