Marahashtra Open
The Maharashtra Open (known as Tata Open Maharashtra for sponsorship reasons) was an annual men's ATP Tour 250 Tennis championship since 1996. It was held in Pune (since 2018) and was part of the ATP Tour, before it was moved to Hong Kong in 2024. Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA), the governing body of Tennis in Maharashtra state annually organised at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex. It was a hard court championship and men's singles and doubles matches were organised. The inaugural event was held in New Delhi. It was then shifted to Chennai since its second edition, and from there it was moved to Pune in 2018, where it is held in January. The tournament is owned and organized by ''RISE Worldwide''. It was the only tour level tennis event currently held in India. It was also the only South Asia's ATP tour professional tennis event. Stan Wawrinka
Stanislas "Stan" Wawrinka (; born 28 March 1985) is a Swiss professional tennis player. He has been ranked world No. 3 in men's singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), first achieved on 27 January 2014. Wawrinka has won 16 ATP Tour-level singles titles, including three majors at the 2014 Australian Open, 2015 French Open and the 2016 US Open, where he defeated the world No. 1 player in the final on all three occasions. He has also won an Olympic gold medal in men's doubles at the 2008 Beijing Olympics partnering Roger Federer, and was pivotal in the Swiss team's victory at the 2014 Davis Cup. The Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, also known as Balewadi Stadium, is a sports complex located in Pune, India. The complex is situated about 15 km from downtown Pune and 5 km from Hinjawadi. This complex was a venue for the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games, Khelo India Youth Games in 2019 and AFC Women's Asian Cup.
