Mao (singer-songwriter)
Mauro Gurlino (born 16 April 1971), known as Mao, is an Italian singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, radio and television host and actor. An artist mainly known for his work as a singer-songwriter and radio and television presenter, active since the late 1980s, he achieved national fame in the 1990s as the leader of the music group Mao e la Rivoluzione and for his co-hosting with Andrea Pezzi of the TV programme ''Kitchen'' broadcast on MTV Italy. Biography He has earned a degree in History and Criticism of Cinema at the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy of the University of Turin. Epiphone () is an American musical instrument brand that traces its roots to a musical instrument manufacturing business founded in 1873 by Anastasios Stathopoulos in İzmir, Ottoman Empire, and moved to New York City in 1908. Massimiliano "Max" Gazzè (born 6 July 1967) is an Italian singer-songwriter and musician. He is known for his high-pitched voice. He is also a member of the trio Fabi Silvestri Gazzè with Niccolò Fabi and Daniele Silvestri. Biography Max Gazzè was born in Rome, his father was from the Province of Ragusa. He emigrated to Belgium in 1980 where he spent his childhood, his father being a diplomat at the embassy of Italy, and he studied at the European School.
