Mao Zedong pronounced ; also Romanization of Chinese, romanised traditionally as Mao Tse-tung. (26 December 1893 – 9 September 1976), also known as Chairman Mao, was a Chinese communist revolutionary who was the List of national founders, founder of the People's Republic of China (PRC), which he led as the chairman of the Chinese Communist Party from the Establishment of the People's Republic of China, establishment of the PRC in 1949 until Death and state funeral of Mao Zedong, his death in 1976. In Japanese mythology and fantasy, are supernatural beings, normally evil ones such as devils or demons. A or maou is a ruler of mazoku, or in fiction more generically a dark lord or powerful monster. Etymology The name ''ma'' ( – devil) suggests that they are meant to threaten human existence or defy the gods, while - zoku ( – tribe, clan, family) indicates that they are a family. Jenílson Brito Rodrigues (born 6 December 1978), better known as Mão, is a Brazilian beach soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper. He is a record five-time winner of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup ( 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2017) and won the Golden Glove (best goalkeeper) award at Dubai 2009. Additionally, he holds the record for most appearances at the World Cup (54) and is the most capped-Brazilian player ever. Career Mão has stated his desire was always to be a goalkeeper. The Mao languages are a branch of the Omotic languages spoken in Ethiopia. The group had the following categories: * Bambasi, spoken in the Bambasi woreda of Benishangul-Gumuz Region, * Hozo and Seze (often described together as 'Begi Mao'), spoken around Begi in the Mirab (West) Welega Zone of the Oromia Region, and * Ganza, which is spoken south of Bambasi in the Asosa Zone of Benishangul-Gumuz Region and west of the Hozo and Seze languages. The mao or ma'oma'o (''Gymnomyza samoensis'') is a passerine bird belonging to the genus ''Gymnomyza'' in the honeyeater family Meliphagidae. It is an endangered species and is endemic to the Samoan Islands. It is a large honeyeater, long. The plumage is dark, varying from blackish on the head and breast to olive-green on the wings and body. There is a dark greenish mark under the eye. The bill is long, curved and black in an adult and yellowish in a chick or juvenile and the legs and feet are also black. Adult birds have light blue or brown eyes whilst all juveniles have a brown iris. It characteristically bobs its tail while foraging along the trunk and branches of trees. Nests are built at varying heights in the branches of many different tree species. A single whitish brown speckled egg is laid in a simple sticky cup nest. The Dominican city of Santa Cruz de Mao, or simply Mao, is the head municipality of the Valverde province, in the northwest of the country.
