Manzini, Eswatini
Manzini (formerly Bremersdorp) is a large city in Eswatini, which is also the city of Eswatini's Manzini Region. The city is the country's second largest urban center behind the capital Mbabane, with a population of 110,000 (2008). It is known as "The Hub" of Eswatini and lies on the MR3 road. Eswatini's primary industrial site at Matsapha lies near the town's western border. History A commercial center from the time a trading post was opened in 1885, Bremersdorp was designated a township in 1898. Arthur Bremer sold his hotel for use to British Colonial authorities who had administered Swaziland since 1894 as their national administrative headquarters, and stipulated that the settlement would bear his name (''dorp'' is the Afrikaans word for "village"). Manzini is a region of Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland), located in the center-west of the country. It has an area of 4,093.59 km2 and a population of 355,945 (2017). King Mswati III International Airport
King Mswati III International Airport , initially named Sikhuphe International Airport in the planning and construction phase, is an airport in Eswatini. It replaced Matsapha Airport in 2014 as the only international airport in Eswatini that caters to commercial flights. It is designed to handle 360,000 passengers per year. Anna Jochemsen
Anna Jochemsen (born March 30, 1985) is a Dutch Paralympic skier who was born in Eswatini. She competed at the Sochi Paralympics in 2014 and carried the closing flag. She also represented the Netherlands at the 2018 Winter Paralympics. Life Jochemsen was born in 1985 in the African city of Manzini and some of her early life was spent in Finland and the USA. One of her legs was not complete when she was born. With her father's support she took to skiing, when she was seven. She had a professional coach and when she was 23 she took part in her first competition. From 2007, she was competing internationally and training for three or four hours for six days out of every seven. She trained at the National Sports Centre Papendal, but the Netherlands is very flat so when she was mountain skiing in the for nearly half of the year she was in other countries. The Köppen climate classification divides Earth climates into five main climate groups, with each group being divided based on patterns of seasonal precipitation and temperature. A humid subtropical climate is a subtropical -temperate climate type, characterized by long and hot summers, and cool to mild winters.
