Manuel Maria da Terra Brum, 3rd Baron of Alagoa (Horta, Azores, Horta, 3 February 1825 – Horta, Azores, Horta, 11 July 1905), was a merchant and Viticulture, viticulturist who played a prominent role in the local politics of Faial Island, in the Azores. Terra Brum was descendant of Josse van Aertrycke, a Flemish people, Flemish Nobility, nobleman who was one of the first colonizers of Faial Island, Faial in the 15th century. Carlos I of Portugal, Carlos I granted Terra Brum the title of Baron of Alagoa during his visit to the Azores in 1901.
