Manuel T. Pacheco
Manuel Trinidad Pacheco (born May 30, 1941) was president of Laredo State University (1984–1988), the University of Houston–Downtown (1988–1991), the University of Arizona (1991–1997), the University of Missouri System (1997–2002). In retirement, he served as the interim president of his alma mater, New Mexico Highlands University (2006-2007), and two terms as the interim president of New Mexico State University (2009, 2012-2013). Pacheco was born in Rocky Ford, Colorado. He received a bachelor's degree from New Mexico Highlands University in 1962, a masters in Spanish, and a Ph.D. in foreign language from the Ohio State University in 1962 and 1969, respectively. Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) is a public university in Laredo, Texas. It is part of the Texas A&M University System and home to over 8,500 students each academic semester. Henry Koffler
Henry Koffler (born Heinrich Koffler; September 17, 1922 – March 10, 2018) was an Austrian-born American scientist, academic and artist. Early life Koffler was born in Vienna, Austria. In 1939, at the age of 17, he emigrated by himself to the United States. The second recipient of the International Scholar by the University of Arizona, Koffler received his B.S. degree in Agricultural Chemistry in 1943 from the University of Arizona, and from the University of Wisconsin, his M.S. in Microbiology in 1944 and Ph.D. in Microbiology and Biochemistry in 1947. Elson S. Floyd (February 29, 1956 – June 20, 2015) was an American educator who served as the 10th president of the four-campus Washington State University from May 21, 2007 to June 20, 2015. Floyd was also the first African American to be named president of Washington State University.
