Manuel Rodríguez Vega
Manuel Rodríguez Vega (born 2 August 1942) is a Chilean former football player and manager. Coaching career In addition to coach various clubs in the Chilean football, at the beginning Rodríguez Vega worked in the Universidad de Chile youth ranks, where he trained players such as Marcelo Salas, Rodrigo Goldberg and Esteban Valencia. In the 1990s and 2000s, he lived and worked as coach in Indonesia, country where he came thanks to his brother Juan and coached clubs such as Persita Tangerang. After returning to Chile, he coached clubs at minor categories such as Provincial Osorno, Ferroviarios and Municipal Salamanca. Previously, he coached for a short term the Chile women's national team. Personal life His brothers Juan and Gabriel were professional footballers. Juan was part of the Chilean 1974 World Cup squad and Gabriel played for Colo-Colo and Deportes Concepción. Juan Rodríguez Vega
Juan Carlos Rodríguez Vega (16 January 1944 – 1 September 2021) was a Chilean footballer and manager who played as a defender. He made 26 appearances for the Chile national team. Club career Rodríguez began his playing career with Chilean first division club C.F. Universidad de Chile. He won the Chilean league four times (1964, 1965, 1967 and 1969) with Universidad de Chile. He moved to Primera División (First Division) side Atlético Español in 1973, the club where he would win the 1975 CONCACAF Champions' Cup. International career Rodríguez played for the Chile national team at the 1974 FIFA World Cup finals in West Germany. The Chilean Primera División () is a professional association football league in Chile and the highest level of the Chilean football league system. Founded in 1933, it is organized by the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (ANFP). Juan Manuel Rodríguez Rubio (born 19 October 1968), also known as Juan Rubio, is a Chilean former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder for clubs in Chile and Indonesia.
