Manuel Pascali
Manuel Pascali (born 9 September 1981) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder or defender. He now works as a commentator for Serie A coverage on FuboTV. Pascali most famously captained Kilmarnock to a Scottish League Cup title in 2012. However, he was unable to play in the final due to injury. He is considered by many to be one of the greatest ever players to represent Kilmarnock - even earning a commemorative plaque at Rugby Park next to other club legends. Club career He started his career with Sant'Angelo before moving on to Serie C2 with Pizzighettone and Carpenedolo. Serie C2 was the fourth highest football league in Italy, the lowest with a professional status. History Before the 1978–79 season, there were only three professional football leagues in Italy, the third being Serie C. The league menaging the C was also organizing the semi-professional Serie D. In 1978, it was decided to split the Serie C into Serie C1 (the third highest league) and Serie C2, moving the remnants of the Serie D to the amatorial sector as Campionato Interregionale. Upon its inception in 1978–79, Serie C2 consisted of four groups of 18 teams, with two promotions and three relegations. Allan John Russell (born 13 December 1980) is a Scottish former professional footballer who was most recently a set-piece coach for club Norwich City. Motherwell (, ) is a town and former burgh in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, United Kingdom, south east of Glasgow. It has a population of around 32,120. Sergio Porrini (; born 8 November 1968) is an Italian football coach and former centre-back and right-back defender. James Jefferies (born 22 November 1950) is a Scottish football manager and former player. Jefferies played for Heart of Midlothian for almost his whole playing career and enjoyed a successful first managerial spell with the club, winning the 1998 Scottish Cup. Jefferies has also managed Gala Fairydean, Berwick Rangers, Falkirk, Bradford City, Kilmarnock and Dunfermline Athletic.
