Manuel De Castro
Manuel de Castro González (9 August 1885 – 27 August 1944), better known as Hándicap, was a Spanish sports journalist, football executive, manager, referee, and politician. He was one of the most important figures in the amateur beginnings of football in Vigo, being noted for his prominent role in promoting football in the city and as the fundamental head behind the foundation of Celta de Vigo in 1923. As a football executive, he held the presidency of the Galician Football Federation. As a coach, he managed both the Spain national team in ten games between 1921 and 1927, as well as the Galicia national team. And as a referee, he founded the College of Arbitrators of Galicia. He also promoted athletics, of which he also served as president of the Galician Athletics Federation. Galician Football Federation
The Royal Galician Football Federation ( gl, Real Federación Galega de Fútbol, es, Real Federación Gallega de Fútbol; RFGF) is the governing body of the sport of football in Galicia, Spain. The RFGF organises Group 1 of the Tercera División, with the assistance of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), as part of the Spanish football league system. It also organises the Copa Galiza and regional divisions of Galicia independently from the Royal Spanish Football Federation. The RFGF, which also administered the Championship of Galicia (a regional league competition whose best teams qualified for the Copa del Rey) until the end of the 1930s, was founded in 1909 and is based in A Coruña. An exhibition game (also known as a friendly, a scrimmage, a demonstration, a preseason game, a warmup match, or a preparation match, depending at least in part on the sport) is a sporting event whose prize money and impact on the player's or the team's rankings is either zero or otherwise greatly reduced. Sabino Bilbao
Sabino Bilbao Líbano (11 December 1897 – 20 January 1983) was a Spanish footballer who played as a midfielder. Football career Born in Leioa, Biscay, Sabino played six seasons with Athletic Bilbao (1918–24), prior to the creation of La Liga. With the Basque giants he won two Copa del Rey trophies, in 1921 and 1923. Sabino earned two caps with Spain, representing the nation in the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp and helping it win silver. José María Belauste
José María de Belausteguigoitia Landaluce (3 September 1889 – 4 September 1964), known as Belauste, was a Spanish footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Bilbao, Biscay, Belauste played with Athletic Bilbao from ages 15–36. His game was based on a physical display, as he stood at 1.93 meters and weighed 95 kilograms. He made his debut for his only club on 4 April 1909 in a 2–4 loss against Club Ciclista de San Sebastián, and won six Copa del Rey trophies during his tenure. Ricardo Zamora
Ricardo Zamora Martínez (; 14 February 1901 – 8 September 1978) was a Spanish footballer and manager. He played as a goalkeeper for, among others, RCD Espanyol, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. As an international he played for both the Catalan XI and Spain. As a manager, he won two La Liga titles with Atlético Aviación and briefly managed Spain. Zamora, nicknamed ''El Divino'', was noted for wearing a cloth cap and a white polo-neck jumper on the field, a look later copied by several of his contemporaries. He claimed it was to protect him from both the sun and his opponents. As a goalkeeper, he was primarily known for his athleticism, quick reflexes, shot-stopping abilities, large frame, and bravery in goal.
