Manuel Badenes
Manuel Badenes Calduch (31 October 1928 – 26 November 2007) was a Spanish footballer, who played as a forward for clubs such as FC Barcelona and Valencia CF. Club career Badenes started his career at CD Castellón. His first season at the club saw him score four goals in ten games which resulted in a move to Barcelona. He spent two season at the club, winning two La Liga titles before moving to Valencia. He scored 90 goals in 97 games at Valencia before moving to Real Valladolid, where he won the Pichichi trophy awarded to the top scorer in La Liga in 1958. International career Badenes is the all-time top goal scorer of Spain B with 8 goals, and remarkably, he managed to achieve this feat having only two appearances for the team (a ratio of four goals per game), both at the 1953–58 Mediterranean Cup, netting four past Greece and four again against Egypt, to be crowned the tournament's top goal scorer. Castellón De La Plana
Castellón de la Plana (in ), or simply Castellón (), is the capital city of the province of Castellón, in the Valencian Community, Spain. It is located in the east of the Iberian Peninsula, on the Costa del Azahar by the Mediterranean Sea. The mountain range known as Desert de les Palmes rises inland north of the town. The Greece national football team (, ) represents Greece in men's international Association football, football matches, and is controlled by the Hellenic Football Federation, the governing body for football in Greece. Greece is one of only ten national teams to have been crowned List of UEFA European Championship finals, UEFA European Champions. Greece's first appearance in a major tournament was at UEFA Euro 1980 where they were knocked out in the group stage. In Spanish Association football, football, the Pichichi Trophy () is awarded by the sports newspaper ''Marca (newspaper), Marca'' to the top goalscorer of each La Liga season. Named after the Athletic Bilbao striker Pichichi (footballer), Rafael "Pichichi" Moreno, the trophy has been awarded annually since the 1952–53 La Liga, 1952–53 season. All top scorers who preceded the award's creation were retroactively named Pichichi winners by ''Marca''. Since the 2014–15 season, the top scorer of the women's Liga F is also awarded the Pichichi Trophy. The Pichichi is not officially recognised by the league's governing body, the Liga de Fútbol Profesional, Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional. The Mediterranean Cup was an association football competition contested by men's national teams and national B teams of the states bordering the Mediterranean Sea. There have been three tournaments for the Mediterranean Cup: the first one was officially called Eastern Mediterranean Friendship Cup, the second was called Eastern Mediterranean Cup and the last one was just "Mediterranean Cup". Italy, Egypt, Greece and Turkey were the four participants of the first two editions (Italy played with the national B team). Spain and France joined in the last edition (both with the national B team). The , commonly known as , or (in English) the Spanish Cup or King's Cup, and formerly known as Copa del Presidente de la República (1932–1936) and Copa del Generalísimo (1939–1976), is an annual knockout football competition in Spanish football, organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
